29 May 2018. During a tumultuous meeting of the UN Security Council in New York, dedicated to the MX17 disaster, the message present is distributed among the journalists that their Russian colleague Grigori Muasjko was shot in Kiev. A friend of him, the Dutch war reporter Natan Haandrikman, decides to immediately fly from New York to Kiev to assist the widow.
Marshko appears to have been together with the Ukrainian secret service to mislead the Russians. He has thereby unintentionally made himself a spreader of Fake News. A mortal sin in the eyes of independent journalism: friendly colleagues drop out en masse, except Haandrikman. The worst thing is that his beloved Yulia also feels betrayed by Grigori and leaves him.
Disposed by everyone, he returns to Russia to continue his research into the circumstances of MX17 'there. "
